This quarter we are studying "Facets of Our God." Every lesson int his quarter will be a study on a different aspect of the Godhead. Perhaps one of the more "cerebral" quarterlies when compared to others, but very much needed. It is said that whether we are conscious of it or not, we slowly come to resemble what we worship. If that is true, it is essential that every person arrive at a proper understanding of God. Blessings to all.
Inspirational Corner
Prayer governs conduct and conduct makes character. Conduct is what we do; character is what we are. Conduct is the outward life. Character is the life unseen, hidden within, yet evidenced by that which is seen... In the economy of grace conduct is the offspring of character...Character is the root of the tree, conduct, the fruit it bears.
Prayer is related to all gifts of grace. To character and conduct its relation is that of helper. Prayer helps to establish character and fashion conduct, and both for their successful continuance depend on prayer...The more we pray, the better we are, the purer and better our lives.

About My Blog
Welcome to this--my humble attempt at making a blog and a webpage. It is my intent to build a small place of peace and solace on the internet--a place where our minds may meet and views exchanged on any number of different topics. From friendship and daily life to sports and tv, to religion and philosophy to politics and government all is open to being discussed and analyzed in a respectful manner.
I am many things: a son, a brother, an uncle, a cousin, a friend, a leader to some, a scholar, an artist, a thinker, a student to some and a teacher to others. A success at some things and a dismal failure at others. Ultimately the only thing that gives my life meaning is that I am a child of God. I do not claim to be perfect or better than anyone, if anything I realize that I don't deserve anything. I am trying to let Him work in me. I am on a quest to fulfill my personal potential and be a blessing to others while trying to deal wisely with the many problems and challenges that life presents.
